Hi Everyone,

Well we are cleaning, packing and loading the motorhome getting ready for our trip to Moab.? We are leaving So. Cal this Saturday and will be spending a week in No. AZ prior to coming into Moab on May 2nd.? While in No AZ, we will be staying in and around Prescott, Cottonwood and Sedona.? Does anyone have any RV campgrounds they can recommend in those areas?? We also plan to see Canyon De Chelly; but I'm aware there is only one campground and it's first come-first serve.

Can't wait to see everyone in Moab.

Canyon De Chelly is a neat place.? If your toad/tow vehicle is 4WD, hire a park guide and tour the floor of the Canyon -- can't do it without a Navajo guide.? ?If not, take one of the for hire tours.
BTW, no booze on the Rez.? ?They ain't gonna search your trailer, but don't sit outside with a beer in the evening.? ;)

Marsha,

Looking forwward to seeing you and Tim at Moab! We're currently playing tour guides for Chris' brother and his wife from Wales. We have a boat trip planned the end of the week, they fly home on Monday, then we get ready to head to Moab.

Marsha,

While in the Cottonwood, Sedona area you are personally invited to stay at Peg's Campground. Full hookups with WIFI internet. Framily members get the best rates. (Free) :) We are in Camp Verde so its just a short drive to Cottonwood, Sedona, Montezuma's Castle and Fort Verde.

Canyon De Chelly is a good stop on the way to Moab. We have stopped there twice. Yes the campground is first come first serve but we have never found it full.

We will be departing for Moab on the 1st of May.
