In August we spent one week on the Cascade Loop in Washington (1. Stop was Winthrop area and 2. stop Lake Wenatchee with Leavenworth). There are 7 blog postings in total when finished

As beautiful as the Leavenworth area is in summer, it's absolutely magical at Christmas time. (As long as there is SNOW). My wife and I try and get there once a year.

We arrived in Leavenworth yesterday. It is a fascinating town, busy this week with a quilting fair. The women were ecstatic. ;D Beautiful trip coming west today until we hit the traffic east of Monroe.
