Does anyone have an opinion on the Winegard Rayzar Air Amplified antenna. We are needing to purchase a different antenna and are seriously considering this one. Input would be appreciated. Any other suggestions would be appreciated as well. Thanks

We bought and installed one about a month ago.  Yes, we like it.  To find the channels all you do is hold the ON button (on the control panel) down about five seconds and it searches for all the channels in the area.  Then you use your TV remote to connect the TV to it instead of the satellite dish.  We have been getting channels that are as low as 2-3 in some areas and as high as 25 in other areas.  It does get HD TV so it is very clear.

To install it we mounted it in the middle of the roof about half way back.  Using the coax cable that came with it we brought the cable in through the hole where the old Winegard crank-up antenna was located.  They give you all the stuff to close off the holes so there's no leak.  By the way, the electric power to run the new antenna comes in through the coax cable between the control unit and the antenna so there are no electrical connections.  Once we pushed the coax cable down through that hole we connected it to the new control unit which is in the same location as the old one.  All you do is remove the old control unit and it's very easy to install the new one in its place without any wire cutting or anything.

The only hardship was that the instructions were vague on reprogramming the television signal from our satellite dish to the new Winegard one and back to the dish.  Once we figured that out it is easy to switch between the incoming sat dish signal and the incoming Winegard OTA HD signal.  In the final analysis the new antenna is on the roof and the only connection to it is a coax cable that goes to the control unit on the wall inside the motorhome.

If you use the Search button above left and search on the word Rayzar you'll find a number of relevant discussions.
