Looking to build a TC and wondering about heights.
It seems the new ones with the slide outs have the floor height at the top of the truck bed rails? Can someone with a new one confirm this? If so you're pretty high, right? Because its like your are standing on the bed rails so the cab over height is like 4' high ceiling or something? Concerned about being too high and all. Some of the MFR's websites state around 9'-4" for total exterior height of the campers but that is from the truck bed height! So the total height from the ground for these is like 12' plus, correct?
With the floor of the camper at the truck bed rails, I'm guessing therr are a few floor hatches because that would give a lot of storage and its kind of like you've still got your truck bed, put in an inflatable kayak etc....
