Looking for some ideas or proven ways to remove the glue backing from the old gaskets so the new ones will adhere properly. I have a 2002 American Eagle and it is time to replace the gaskets. I tried Goof-Off but it didn't work. Has anyone ever used mineral sprits, and did it work?
