ABS Roof repair on 2000 Fleetwood Coleman Pop-up Camper

My husband and I bought a used 2000 Fleetwood Coleman Folding Trailer a couple months ago.? We have recently noticed that the ABS roof has some cracks in it.? Has anyone had experience in repairing this type of roof successfully?? It is almost winter and we want to try to repair it before the cracks become worse.? We would appreciate any suggestions!? Thanks!
 
the only way to stop a crack in any type of plastic from spreading is to drill a small hole at the end of the crack. The hole only needs to be slightly larger than the crack then caulk the crack. once you caulk the crack you can wipe the excess caulk off as the caulk that is in the crack should be plenty. Make sure to drill pin holes at each end of the crack to keep the crack from spreading in either direction.
