2004 Adventurer hood adjustment
« on: October 21, 2014, 01:12:08 PM »
Before you dismiss this as a stupid question, know that I have spent quite a bit of time trying to get the top edge of the hood, on my 2004 Adventurer to close properly. The top edge needs to go in another 3/8" to 1/2". I have tried adjusting the slotted bolts on the two side brackets that hold the parallel arms, and have tried adjusting the rubber stop that the lower parallel arm contacts, but cannot seem to find the right combination.
If anyone has experience on this, I will certainly appreciate your advice.
Will post pictures if necessary.

I've adjusted the "hood" on another Horizon a few years ago at the GNR, it takes a bit of fiddling.  Can you put up a few pictures of the hood mechanism?

Along these lines, any advice about how to reattach a hood bracket that fell off?
Thanks

Hi and welcome.  Please do not ask the same question on several old threads.
