Last night I tried to install a map update on my Garmin Nuvi 2497LMT. Partway through the initial attempt my computer locked up & I had to restart it before the install was complete. When I tried again the install would hang at the 28% point & I'd get an error message telling me to retry the install & if that doesn't work to contact Garmin. I've tried several times & get the same result. Of course Garmin support is only open M-F 8 to 5.
The update I'm trying to install is the Full Coverage of North America map 2015.30. I've turned my GPS on & I don't have the usual detail map & the driving directions are very basic. I guess I wiped out the old North America map. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem? Thanks.
