My wife and I have looked at MHs for a couple of years now. We came across a 2000 Safari Serengeti w/45K miles. It seems to have all of the requisite gear including 7.5kw generator, 330 hp Cat, 2000 w inverter, etc. It seems to be in pretty good shape inside and out. The seller is asking ~83K. I know that some people on this and other forums do not think much of Safari. I am aware that there are a couple of windows that need replaced as the interior seals have moved into the area between the glass panes. Monaco tells me that they replace them for their cost. What else should I be wary of in my decision to buy or not?
