I just got a rear view camera/monitor from Costco for my R-Vison Class B and am interested in whether I can run wires under chassis or if I have to thru a conduit or even if it can be installed overhead.  Any suggestions.  The RV was never wired for camera before.  Thanks.  Paul

I don't know about your unit specifically but this what I did with my Class C with my after-market camera.

I mounted it center just below the marker lights.  Then ran the cable through surface mount conduit (Lowes, Home Depot-has adhesive backing and can be siliconed to the unit for permanency).  From the point it reached the bottom of the unit, I ran it along the frame, strapping with zip ties, and avoiding exhaust pipes, drive train etc.  had to drill a hole at the front of the unit to run the cable inside to the camera interface and power lead.  Interior just attached the camera, ran the power, and was up.  Figure one day for installation, took it on a 2500 mile trip. No problems, invaluable.
