A friend of mine has a 1991 pontoon boat, great shape, and he uses it routinely throughout the warm months in Illinois.  He would like to add a few "boat benches" (the waterproof upholstered style with storage under the seat cushion) but refuses to pay the $200-300 per bench new price.  Is there any recommended used parts suppliers or scrap yards, where "boats go to die" and be parted out?  I know there have been discussions about RV yards in the past, so I figured someone here may have a suggestion for boats as well.

It's not near you, but may be worth calling or taking a road trip.  Find Wolf's Marine in Benton Harbor, MI.  It is a huge organizationally impaired facility with everything Nautical.  New, used, overstock, orphaned, end of production runs.  I don't have the number, but a phone call might get you some information.  If they don't have it, you don't need it...

I know exactly where Benton Harbor is actually, driven by the interstate exit many times to/from our favorite camping spot in Covert, MI.  Thanks for the referral!
