Motor Home Specialist RV - Texas
« on: February 27, 2015, 09:28:43 AM »
:-\Am looking at various internet ads, and MHSRV seems to have a huge inventory and terrific pricing.  I live in NE PA and would have to drive down there.  Is it worth the trip, or is it another "Too good to be true"?

At one time MHSRV had a program that would buy your airline ticket if you bought a motorhome from them. Of course, the cost of the ticket was built into the selling price and I'm not sure if it's still in effect. When we were shopping for RVs, we spent a lot of time on their website, because they do have a relatively large inventory of new and used coaches. I don't know if their prices fall into the "too good to be true" category but they were definitely competitive.

When shopping for our TT, we considered fetching ours from Indiana. In hind sight we should have and not been tied to Camper World for 2 years. Ugh.

Looking for a MH, either Dallas (RV consigners such as I35 RV in Denton) or down this way in Fort Myers area.  Lots and lots of homes as retirees sell after a few years.

Personally I haven't done business with them because the one time I found a coach on their website and went over to look at it they didn't want to be bothered if I didn't want one of the $500,000+ units out front. They basically said I couldn't afford anything they had.

Check Holman RV near Cincinnati.  Had a great experience with them.
