Has anyone seen the new International RXT five ton+ pickup displayed at the recent Chicago Auto Show?

It's a 22 foot long commercial 4 X 2 pickup with a crew cab and a VT 365 diesel V8 engine with 230 HP and 540 lb/ft of torque.

It stands 8 feet tall with an 8 foot bed.? They say it has great tow capability with commercial hydraulic brakes for stopping with large loads or trailers.

They are expected to become available in Fall 2005 at around $70,000

Will this truck be a contender in the market for big rig haulers?

I read about that truck,,, Max combined vehicle weight rating is ONE LB below the rating that requires a commericial license in most states 23999lbs if memory serves.

I think it will become a favorite of big rig haulers yes.... And International sure knows how to make "Tractors" after all, it's what made them famous
