I currently own a 5th wheel I pull with my 3/4 ton RAM.
I am thinking of converting over to a camper. I would like to tow my boat when I go camping.
However, when I go camping I do not want to haul around the camper with me. I would like to leave it at the campground.
Can I unload my campeer and camp in it when it is off of the truck. If so, anything special I need to do or any special camper to buy?

thanks,
Tim

Been there--done that. Just make sure that the camper you buy is equipped with jacks that will allow easy, quick use.  Make sure it's 4, not a 3 jck system.  If you get the chance, got to a local RV show. There are always several there that will do just what you want.

You definitely want to get it as close to the ground as possible and on 4 jacks on level ground cuz they can slide a bit.  Been there done that.
