I am posting this here in the hopes that a Winnie owner might have a lead for me. I am wanting a 72 to 76 Chieftain. Rear bath 26 ft. I do check Craigs list regularly and belong to the Vintage Winnie forum. So far all I can find are really rough. I have restored a few other Classics and am willing to do the same with a Winnie. However I do need to find one with a good body and no rot. I started looking in January. Most that I do find are field vehicles that are beyond restoration. Interiors are easily repaired if there is no mold or rot. Powertrain and appliances can all be fixed or replaced.
