Good gawd... We have our minnesota winters, and a professional wrestler as a former governor to lament.
You poor folks in the south have the Bradford pear tree!
What form of noxious joke is this foliage?
We're sitting in a RV park in Mississippi on our way to New Orleans. Actually have an opportunity to finally open some windows. The Queen thought I did something wrong with the sewer line. I thought she put the tuna steaks in the drawer rather then the refrigerator by mistake. We're both trying to figure out what is causing the most foul odor known to man.
Why..... It's none other than the Bradford pear trees surrounding our site!

Agree, they may be pretty for a couple of weeks, as long as they are on other people's property

My Mom had several on her property, when I had to take over lawn care, they was the first thing to go

Fast growing, flowering, low maintenance.  Had one broken off at the stump by a storm, it grew right back, 6' tall the next spring.
