Vacations in a Class B - Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive

2008 before we added the penthouse top to our van. The trip was in the spring when many of the flowers were in bloom. The slide show is 15 minutes long, 1/3 Skyline Drive and 2/3rds Blue Ridge Parkway. Our file on this trip contains 600 pictures (edited to that number!) and I had to eliminate most of them to get this presentation down to 15 minutes. Enjoy

I grew up and still live within 15 minutes of the juncture of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive. I have so many fond memories of Sunday picnics and such. Driving and camping the full length of the BRP is on my list!

Its a real shame is most people don't now that you can get off the parkway and hit the back roads just off the parkway in the national forest. And camp free and privet like in your rv brochure.
