Never been to Bend or traveled on Hwy 97.  Heard there are a lot of trucks.  Are there two lanes and pull-outs going north after I leave Hwy 62?  Don't need truckers on my tail as I am a 55 mph kinda guy.

A couple of alternate routes are I-5 to Eugene or Albany and take a Ritchie to Bend.  Never been on Hwy 20 or 26.  Are these OK for our RV and will traffic pile up behind me because they are only one lane and no pull-outs ?

Going to stay at Crown Villa....looks good.

Thank you......

We travel 97 a lot with no problems there are passing lanes.  So you spend less time on 97 take I-5 South, prior to Eugene take 58 E over to 97.  Dick nvrver

97 is fine... if you were thinking of crossing over from Medford area on 140, it's a beautiful drive.  It's been such a light snow year in the Oregon elevations it's scary. I used to drive this road across all the time.  Here is a link to the web cam at the summit.

62 to 230 to Diamond Lake would be spectacular, but probably still frozen.
