I currently have a 2012 honda civic with an auto trans. Do you know of any restrictions on towing with a tow dolly? The manual says not to be towed behind a motorhome. I'm assuming they mean 4 down, but they make no distinction between the 2. I can't figure why there should be a problem with it, but would like to hear real life situations, thanks

Thanks Frizlefrak. I even called Honda, all they could do is read the manual! It made no sense, being that the drive train is up front. Just needed some reassurance!

Yep.....drivetrain is all in the front half....  :)

If it's an AWD towing it on a dolly will cause damage.

If it has a differential in the rear it's AWD.

Maybe Dimco makes a lube pump for it?

Nope purely Front wheel drive. In fact I traded in my Subaru just because of that.

How did the dolly work out with your 2012 Honda Civic?
Were you able to pull with no issues?
