I have recently installed an RF remote control so that I can be outside making sure my slide-out is clearing everything when being extended.
Fairly cheap and easy mod to do. Real happy with the results. Bought the remote switch from an online website for cheap. Ebay might be an option as well.
I also have added a diagram of how I did hook everything up. I can provide more details if anyone is interested.
