How can I tell if the converter is going out in my Starcraft 2409 pop up?  We were out on a trip and noticed when the water pump would kick on after a few minutes everything running on the battery would slowly die out.  If we shut the water pump off and took the fuse out (which sparked a little when putting it back in) for a few minutes it reset and everything worked fine until the pump went on again.  Anyone have any experience with this?  Thanks!!!

Sounds more like a failing battery. The converter provides 12v only when plugged to shore power - is that the case here? If plugged to shore power and still inadequate 12v, then yes, it may be the converter/charger.

How long is the pump running? It normally isn't on long enough to have a make other things "slowly die out". A pressure leak in the water line or an internal failure in the pump might make it run indefinitely and that would indeed cause power problems. The pump uses a fair amount of power (maybe 5 amps in your system), but usually runs  only briefly and no more than a few seconds after the faucet is shut off.
