Getting to Fort Bragg CA from Hwy 101

Any tips on getting an RV from Hwy 101 (South) into Fort Bragg?  It looks like Hwy 20 is the way in, but I've seen references to motorhomes and buses over 40' prohibited on that road.  We tow a 38' 5th wheel with an F-350 dually.
