New Horizons Pluto Rendezvous

The New Horizons probe is about two weeks away from Pluto. You can see the planet has been impacted and has various surface details. You can also easily see it's largest moon orbiting around the planet as the probe gets closer, as well as other moons.

The encounter should be very fascinating.

Sheesh...that's quite a drive. I hope there are plenty of Costcos along the way for gas...Did we get a good campground?  :p

Seriously...that's some cool stuff. I sat in front of my computer for hours when the Curiosity rover landed...I still check in at least once per month to see if anything interesting has happened.
 
I think NASA TV is carrying updates at 11am daily, someone correct me if that's wrong
 
Hi,

See they have some nice color shots right now of the planet. Sort of like Chirstmas with this visit to the out most reaches of our solar system. I am sure they will continue to explore other objects past Pluto after this encounter.
