The recent outbreak of fires in California has me worried since my sister owns a house at Lake Tahoe (the same sister who was posting here about my brain surgery two years ago. I looked for a map of the fires and could not find one so I emailed her and asked her if she was in danger. She replied she was not in danger but could smell smoke from time to time. She gave me a link to a web site that has a map showing all the current California fires. If you click on the menu icon in the upper left side of the map it will expand to give you a list of all the current fires. You can click on one of those and the map zooms in on that fire. It also lists all the fires this year that have been put out. This might help someone planning on going camping in California right now.
