Montana in Summer - S CA this winter
Having a wonderful summer around NW Montana - although now the smoke is putting the kibosh on any good photos! Pray for rain and calm winds....

Anyway here are a few of my photos...

Absolutely stunning Jim, I wish I was there. ;D

Thanks coming from you that is quite a compliment as you are no slouch behind the lens either. This summer has been the time to relax and attack the "To Do" list on the RV. New fridge, new batteries, new hatches, outdoor shower and hatch covers - furnace is now out waiting for a new motor...seems to never end. I also fixed several plumbing water leaks that have been annoying me for a long time.

Hope to shoot some more pictures here and on my way South over the next few months.

Thanks for sharing those beautiful shots. That is an incredible part of the country.

They are beautiful!  The first one with the clouds is particularly interesting.  And it looks like summer is half over because the fireweed is half way up the stock!  Thanks for sharing them.

Re your repairs.  We had more repairs on our last trip than ever before, so I can sympathize.  We had one day where everything seemed to go wrong and the last straw was when Jerry opened a cabinet door and it came off in his hands.  And this is a motorhome that is very well maintained.  I guess it was just time for a couple of things to die or break.  The broken cabinet hinge was apparently metal fatigue because a piece just sheared off.  Oh well, we helped support the economy - maybe more than we anticipated!  Everything seems to be done now so hopefully future trips will be trouble-free.
