Our entry door is a Fastec. It isn't on the recall list, but one day I unlocked the door and the cylinder came out with the key. Rather than chance it just falling out while we are driving down the road and leaving us locked out, we want to replace it, preferably with a different brand.
One of the hatch door locks is broken, and they are the infamous CH751, so we'll replace both of those with something better too.
I've been reading the pros and cons of changing out locks, and if we didn't have problems with the locks, I wouldn't bother. But since we have to replace anyway, might as well put something a little more secure on there. Is there a brand that is reasonably priced and doesn't have the same few keys for all their locks? Any feedback on the combination locks?
