Hi everyone! I've been making good progress on the old girl, but I am in need of some advice. As I am getting deeper into the tear out, I am finding almost all of the water damage along the lower passenger side wall. Is there ANY way I can re-frame this without removing the outer aluminum skin? I am working in open weather and I don't have a garage or cover to put over it. My second question...I knew from doing an initial walk through that there was a hole in the metal under skin, but after opening up the floor I have a better idea of how bad...

So, my plan here is to get a piece of sheet metal, seal the edges and rivet it on... Is there a specific kind of metal I should be using? and will butyl tape work to seal the edges?
Thanks everyone!
