We are thinking about entering into the RV world.  Is the above model a dependable RV?

I have a 2005 Four Winds. A E450 chassis just like many more expensive RV's.  The water heater, A/C,Stove, furnace, fridge, doors etc. are the same accessories from Indiana that many expensive class a's. come with.  Interior workmanship is so-so.  You did ok for your money

Much of it will depend on how well it was cared for by the previous owner(s).  It could range anywhere from a jewel to a pile of junk or anywhere in between.  If everything was well kept, it will be obvious.  Everything should work, and it should drive correctly.  Be advised, it will likely need tires soon if they are original.  Price them before agreeing to buy it.  If it's nice, has maintenance records, and everything works, it will be a great unit to start out with.

The rig is question is supposedly a Class A (the Windsport), so could not be an E450 chassis. The 31D model was available on either a Ford F53 or a Workhorse chassis
