Did nine mountain peak passes in Ouray, Silverton, and Telluride, Colorado All over 12,000 feet tallest over 13,000 feet. What a great place to jeep with so many beautiful off road trips. The other is White Rim trail in Canyonlands National Park 100 mile loop took 91/2 hours.  Tent Camped 2nd time I went. Then of course Moab, Utah Hells Revenge and many more. Can't wait to go back !

We absolutely love the Ouray, CO area and of course Moab, UT.

The wife and I spend a week in Ouray every August wheeling around the area.  Love it.

This past August we went to Lake City and completed the Alpine Loop/Engineer Pass for the first time.  The weather was a bit hit and miss as far as rain but it actually added to the overall beauty.

We had a crystal clear day for our run over Black Bear Pass and into Telluride, not a cloud in the sky and low-70's.  Couldn't have asked for a nicer day.

Mike.

We have motorcycled there in the past, so we know what a beautiful  area this is. We hope to be able to get back there next summer with the Jeep.

Gary, let us know when you try to get out there.  We have been hitting Ouray the third week of August for the past 4 or so years now and the weather has been perfect.  It is nearing the end of their season and the campgrounds although still quite full are no where near booked like earlier in the month and summer.

The wheeling there is awesome.  The only downside is that the waterfalls are running a little less by then but still beautiful.

Will do Mike, not for sure yet we can fit it in, but if so would love to join you guys there.
