We have really enjoyed our van, the Green TARDIS over the years, at 138k miles now.  How time fly's !!  Was in Costco the other day and they have a display right up front of smoke and CO detectors.  Made me think even though I really try not to.  The Green TARDIS is 15 years old and I have never replaced my detectors....only the batteries.  Replacing smoke and CO today.  We do not carry propane so no propane detector.

Food for thought.

I went to replace the battery in my CO detector this spring and the mounting bracket snapped in half. What a great reminder to replace the detectors!

I know our home detectors are rated for 10-12 years of use, because I recently checked... I need to replace those too at some point.  Our 7yo TT has the original smoke detector, and no CO detector so it's time to order one of those too.  Or at least before we start using the rig again next Spring.
