Howdy,
I have placed this information here in order to get the widest possible exposure to Ford owners (I did not find any earlier discussions of this issue posted on the forum).
There appears to be a major potential problem with a wide range of Ford trucks!
"...If you drive a 1999-2010 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450 Super Duty pickup, F-550 diesel cab and chassis, diesel E-Series van, or Class C motorhome, you should know about an issue that can affect the fuel tanks. ..."
1999-2010 Ford Super Duty diesel fuel tanks have been shedding the fuel tank liner (delaminating) causing all kinds of problems.

I'm wondering if a long inspection light might let you look inside the tank.
