Those of you into photography know that all images do not look good in black and white, but many are exceptional in black and white.  Here is one that is far more dramatic and successful than the original shot in color.  Enjoy or comment as you see fit.

Jerry's uncle was an excellent photographer and always said black and white were more difficult than color.  I think that's why he admired Ansel Adams so much.  Your water lily is stunning.

It is because you have to be able to imagine what a scene that is in color will look like in B&W. Ansel Adams is one of my biggest heroes. Here is one of my favorite B&W shots I took.
