I pulled the bottom plug and drained the water heater after turning the bypass valve. It looks to me like the bypass valve blocks the cold water side and diverts it back up to the hot line. After I drained it, I could still see a skim of water in the bottom through the hole. Will this matter or do I need to try and vacuum or blow it out? Also, when I go to blow out the rest of the lines, will any water go back into the water heater to need to drain it again? Or should I remove the plug while blowing out? When I go to blow out the lines, do I leave the caps off of the lines that are underneath that allow them to drain? Thanks,Paul
