The Dicks and the Whetstones have just had almost 2 weeks of travel together, we started out in Yellowstone and we parted this morning at Don & Peg Millers place, we are now at Cottonwood RV in Goodyear, AZ, the Dicks are on their way to Benson and on to FL for the winter. We only have 3 nights here and then fly to Portsmouth, VA to see family and celebrate Thanksgiving.
Nice trip, we stopped for some time in Moab for some photography and the Celtic Festival, then to Monument Valley, Gouldings, for little more shooting. Then on to Page, AZ and a guide hike through Antelope Canyon. Awesome, beyond description, and being in a photo group vs the walking group, you can appecite the photo guides. The others have to move through in crowd, (past us), but they don't get as much time in the various areas. We left Page and headed to Camp Verde for a couple days with the Millers, and then this morning, we headed to Goodyear. Our son ives just a couple miles from the campground.
We fly to VA for a 2 week stay, then back here to start our trip north to Yellowstone for the winter.
While here, hoping to hook up with some forum folk, but we only have 3 days. We will try.
Also would like to visit our niece who just moved to Yuma. So little time.
