Hi Folks -
Has anyone taken their RV on the Bellingham WA to Alaska ferry with a dog?
From what I understand, pets must stay in RV except for several times a day to relieve themselves,
and you are not allowed to stay in the RV with the pet.  I really want to take this trip, but the thought of leaving my
dog alone in the rv for 3 days just makes me crazy. Has anyone done this? What was your experience like?

We did from Juneau to Prince Rupert. We had a Yorkie. Every time we went down he was curled up in his bed sound asleep. We would walk him on the vehicle deck for 20 to 30 minutes each time. They announce when ever the vehicle deck is open and you can go down. Be sure you have bags with you to clean up after your pet. We made sure he had food and water and he was fine. No different than leaving him when we left him while we were gone for several hours when sightseeing.
