Amphibious trailer aka caravan

We've all seen videos and photos of amphibious RVs (combinations of class A coaches and a boat); They've been around at least since the 80's. We've also seen (at local marinas and on local waterways) trailers mounted on a patio boat (aka pontoon boat).

Someone in the UK figured out how to make his trailer (aka caravan) float and navigate the River Thames. This video showed up on FB:

Looking at the the attire, hairstyles, and cars, and listening to the 'radio voice', this appears to be from around the 70's.
 
When those believe in hearing about many amphibious craft when those might have heard about the terra wind as the company had made a class A RV that would float on the water while technology had advanced to the point amphibious craft could shatter the triple digit speed on land and exceed 40 knots on the water as like many watercraft owners have to check the hull if they happen to attract zebra mussels as it would be easy to transport the alien species from one body of water to another.
