It's been a while since I played my plectrum banjo, but this evening I dusted off the cobwebs. It takes a while for muscle memory to return, and for the brain to re-adjust.
If anyone has seen Dolly Parton perform live, you'd be blown away by her ability to switch between numerous instruments during her performance. Thanks to forum member and long-time friend Sarah Corippo for introducing us to Dolly's live show (at the Arco Arena in Sacramento).
