Hello, I have questions about how to make my hot water heater operate on electric while i am plugged in to 30 AMP AC?

Does the HW heater have the electric installed if so there should be a switch inside somewhere and probably a circuit breaker. ... a lot do not. My 2000 Chateau did not have the rod, I bought a conversion kit that screws into the drain area, and hooked it us as per the directions. Be advised that the electric takes longer to heat up than LP does..
