I got this from a friend who put a lot of time remodeling the inside and doing some things on the outside. One thing he didn't do was fix the side rear view mirrors. I guess they are hard foam inside and have rotted away where it connects to the post that makes it swivel. I have tried a few things but nothing seems to work especially since I am in Arizona. Tape gets gooey and a spacer to tighten it up doesn't work either. I was thinking of removing them and attaching a new set from a different rv.

Has anyone had this issue? Does anyone know where I could get another set? Its a real pain in the butt having to roll down the window to hold it in place just to pass.

Also, its really loud inside when driving. Has anyone used dynamat or other sound deadening materials to minimize the sound coming from the engine?
