Intermittent power trouble
« on: April 22, 2016, 03:42:58 PM »
Hi. I'm brand new to the forum and a brand. Ew owner of a class B. Just purchased a 1989 Dodge Ram conversion, tagged an Islander. I'm learning my way around it on the road trip home. I've experienced an interruption in the power to interior lights three times now. After driving for a couple of hours, I park and the lights don't work. Last night I left a light switch on when they weren't working. This morning, I woke up to a light shining. Drove a couple hours this morning, parked for lunch and lights don't work. Can't see an obvious problem but I'm not sure where to look. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

Check all the connections from the convertor and the one's going to your 12 volt fuse panel. Sounds like it may be just a loose wire or bad ground.

As stated above lose wire or bad ground is most likely.
All grounds to the frame should be to bare metal. NO paint under them.
