I am contemplating a used class B. My needs are a bit different than most of the people on the board. I likely won't put a lot of miles on it, but will be spending a lot of time during certain periods of the year living in it. There is a place I like to go in the summers for extended periods that does not have any hook ups.
It seems to me a newer high mileage model might make sense. Since I won't be putting that many miles on it, the mileage will not be that big of a deal, and should bring the cost of the unit down. But I do want everything else to work well, generator, water, etc.
Any thoughts about this? Can I go older? Are there certain ages to stay away from?
Also, how hard is it to get all the RV stuff serviced around the country? I assuem the engine and related mechanical pieces can be done at the relevant car dealership.
