New to the forums but embarking on a full rebuild of a 1976 Lit-L-Mate, quite the task for a newbie to be sure.
I am currently at the new sub floor installation stage and the plan, as laid out, is as follows:
1. Remove all Appliances and Interior fixed furniture and paneling
2. Evaluate extent of rot & water damage
3. Deconstruct all flooring (extensive rot throughout) and all structural members while attempting to maintain exterior aluminium siding skin
4. Replace sub floor, all structural members & insulation (Walls, Floor & Roof) where required with new
5. Rewire entire trailer and refit for all-electrical operation
6. Install new Fresh water tank and all water lines
7. Replace all interior paneling with new
8. Repair/replace & seal all exterior siding fasteners and support rails
9. Reseal underfloor aluminium membrane and entire roof
10. Remove, Clean, re-install, reseal all windows & Door
11. Reconfigure and replace built-in furniture and bathroom walls
12. Install new marine toilet & new 12" x 18" single sink
13. Replace appliances with high efficiency electric (Infrared Heater, 3.5 cu.ft Fridge, LED Lights & 2 Burner Induction Cook top)
14. Install 6V GC batteries X 4 in series, 12V inverter & 110V converter/charger.
15. Install new Interior Trim & Window coverings
16. Install New Awning and exterior table attachment
I wondering if I missed anything, or if anyone can give me some advice on a better order of operations for this project.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. ;D
