We were recently camping in a FL state park and a quick rain storm caught us. some water seeped down the body behind the awing rack and seeped thru the furnace exhaust vent onto the floor. It was not a lot but does anyone know if there is a temporary cover or some other solution to this?]

Never heard of water getting in that way. I would start by checking the seal around the furnace exhaust and air intake.
