Hi all:  I'm sure many of you have been past Navajo Mountain on the way to Page, Arizona.  Here is a photo of a great landmark near Page, AZ. It is Navajo Mountain beyond Lake Powell. It can be seen for around 70 miles in most directions. This shot was taken April 29, 2010 just shortly after 8 pm and just before sunset. What extraordinary light.

Nice, Ron -- thanks for posting that. I love that kind of lighting. When I lived in Albuquerque years ago I saw similar lighting conditions periodically -- hard to catch on film (then), though, or digitally now for that matter.
 
Thanks Larry.  Magic light doesn't happen as often as you would like and then you have to be patient enough to get it.
