Overnight Parking in Canada

Anyone ever overnight in the parking lot in Tsawwassen BC Ferry Terminal? We have a early morning ferry and are thinking it would be better to do the border crossing the night before and grocery shop in Tsawwassen instead of doing it all the morning of the ferry early.

Do not think it will be a problem, if you were in the ferry line but check with BC Ferries by web site or phone. might not be able to leave to go shopping.
Good luck

I can't comment on that specific ferry terminal but we've always stayed overnight at various terminals. The ferry people are quite helpful in telling you exactly what line to park in and when you can move to it (in case there's an earlier ferry using that line to organize). We also were told at one ferry to expect a party that night because everyone congregates and gets to know one another. People got out their musical instruments and started jamming!

the lot at the terminal is not usually a problem, there is also the stay and go lot, and the RV park just before you head down the long "run way" to the terminal.

as I recall it really wasnt meant to be much of a campground, just a place to hook up and wait till the ferry comes or go to splashdown park.
