No but may become a member as I understand there are other cities that have these also.
We belong to both Moose and Elks Lodges. As full timers, it made good financial sense to join both these organizations.
We often stay at a Moose Lodge or Elks Lodge while in transit from one location to another. Neither organization charges members for overnight / short term stays. Many Moose and Elks Lodges have campground or 'campground light' facilities on their property and they charge significantly less than a standard campground (public or private). For example, The Mena, Arkasas Elks Lodge charges $25.00 per
week for members to camp in their campground while The Texarkana, Texas Moose Lodge charged
nothing for a six week stay (although they happily accepted our $200 donation). The Myrtle Beach Moose Lodge charges $300 / month for members - while the 'normal' local campground charge twice that.
Of course, Moose and Elks Lodges hope you'll stop inside for a quick bite to eat and / or a cocktail or two.
The Rapid City Elks is a very nice place. In addition to the several 'camping' spots, The Lodge also has its own Golf Course on site. The Moose Lodge in Rapid City does not have any 'hook-up facilities.'
Pactola Lake is a very nice place. I think the Forest Service charges $10.00 bucks a night on a 'first come, first serve' basis. No electric, but the sites do come with water, and many have an excellent view of the lake.
Currently, we have set up shop at Chris' Campground in Spearfish, SD and plan to be here until the end of August. If you want to pay a visit to either The Elks or Moose Lodges in the area, let us know.
Good Travels to you all.
