Wow! Very nice on the cabinets and the handle!  That is one sweet unit that you have there.  When are you taking her out for some RVing?

thanks...she really runs and rides nice...but , still don't trust her yet...lot I don't know about how these work either..
gonna take her out soon... I have an appointment to get the radiator and the brakes flushed wed.. and waiting on the stuff to tow the jeep...

What are you going to do with the Alpine? Keep both of them?

figure on letting the deal'r have it,..i have a couple people that want it , but they would have to pay 8% more
theres nothing wrong with the alpine.... just not for me and what I do

I can't get down there for a couple days,... the dealer that has my old winnabago call'd to see if I still had the barrel chair I took out,... been really missing the handiness of the Winnebago the power  and the small size...I know everyone else likes these big ol beasts...but lets just say i'm different as I don't..i like the ease of getting around in the 26'r and not so complex,... that and it still has a bumper to bumper full warranty:D...
the dealer is making the deal pretty attractive...and I will probley take it ... but have till Friday to decide is I wanna keep both, or trade it in..

You may want to consider posting the Alpine in the "For Sale" board here. There may be a member here that would buy it.

i'd rather not deal with it, and to sell private I loose the sell tax credit...around 8k from what the dealers offering

it really upsets me to see so many flakes in the world and not good for their word... I be there at 5pm means wait  around  I might show up, and I might not.."i'll take it, i have to go to the bank and be back Friday " turns into...you never here from them again, or, they call aweek late to say that their wife said no....

wifes sure get a lot of heat for what guys do... lol :D

I see that your RV dealer has your Alpine listed for $110K.  He's a dreamer!  He didn't even take new pictures for the ad either.

I don't think the price is so far off when you consider that it looks like new now... and every thing works...I've seen them for 80k,... old fabric furniture, old looking d?cor, old carpet. old cracked tile... most need a full paint..then you get them home and need new tires.. full service, 8 new batterys..

you can blow through 20-30k on recondition and restore...

this one has new head lights, new windshields, new floors, new d?cor,  all furniture is leather, new mattress, new rear tv with new dvd player in stalled..machine polished wheels and paint,8 new batterys,110 watt solar system, service just done ... performance tuned with valve adjust, new air cleaner, and about 80 hrs of detail and repairs..

All those things together put it in the "top dollar" bracket for its year and model, but $110k way over the top. Average retail for a 34F is around $60k. Maybe the low miles and excellent condition can push it to $80k. Maybe. Alpines have a sort of cult following in the Pacific Northwest, and that helps too.

Is it at the dealer on consignment? If so, we wish you best success in getting your price.

nope, I still have it...and i'm gonna keep it..

book values go off of sale reports... beings most everyone in cal lies about what they paid..the book value goes down,,,that and auction reports..

repo's and units traded in that get low balled at the auction do. make for a real value...and like you said..people that know or want an alpine will put more value on them.... most 34'rs with the 8.9 motor are never even advertised because most people that own the have a list of, if you ever decide to sell I want it people..

but I will say this,... the price he has it is the cheapest out there.. and there is no others,,,from what I've found .. the 34 brings the highest dollar..and even going up to the 36'r opens the playing field...

they sold this 36'r for a 100k... and IMHO needs everything...

i'm keeping my alpine for various reasons.... but you have me wondering about the stated value..I hunted for the past 4 years to find a clean, low mile 34'r with the 400hp.... hens teeth would be an easier hunt...the coaches that came up in the 60-80k range were all beat down rust buckets with al the paint peeling... and needed every thing done...

If you don't mind me asking,,, as I've had a few ask me .... where did you see the 34' alpines for sale????? I have searched every day on all the for sell sights and cannot find one 34'r for sale..thanks, steve

a guy told me today how to check the air bags.... you deflate them and as they are filling up you can see if they have cracks in the rubber... but once they are all the way full there are not so visable...
