Hello everyone!My first post here. So we purchased a 1994 Fleetwood Prowler a year ago and are curious as to what fluid we use for the slide out pump. The name on the pump is Taylor Newcomb Technologies which I believe has gone out of business. The fluid is very low and we have to run over to Idaho this weekend for my father in laws memorial any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do believe you will want to use Automatic Transmission Fluid for your slide out pump, that is what a friends old RV used years ago. What color is the existing slideout fluid?

ATF would probably work, but it has a red dye in it. HWH (and probably others) make a hydraulic fluid that is similar, but with no dye, so no stains from spills or leaks.
If you use ATF, though, be sure you get the right type -- Dexron III, I believe.
