Just purchased a Winebago Access with 36000 miles for $17,500. It was originally setup as an office so the stove, shower, kitchen sink, and ladder were removed. The microwave, fridge, and toilet were in. The generator has 3600 hours on it. We are snowbirds so we will be using this to go back/forth from Ct to Fl as well as cross country trips (planned this summer). Still checking everything out and learning much since this is our first RV. Drove it for 130 miles averaging 50 to 55 and got 11.5 MPG.
We do not need a shower as we have a portable shower from camping and our Coleman gas stove works fine.
I have several questions:
While the roof looks okay, what is best to seal it?
What type of caulking for windows, vent, etc that have seals?
What are some of standard points of confusion a newbie can expect?
What should I look at carefully?
Thanks,
Malcolm
