We have an '09 Tahoe pulling a new Winn.Micro 1706fb (19.2' long).
We have been advised to install a tranny cooler (small radiator looking device) to prevent overheating the tranny.
The tahoe has 100K miles on it, still in excellent shape, maintained very well.  We will be using the tt over the western part of US, with ample amount of varied landscape (not Florida/Kansas straightlands, I mean).
Any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated.
thanks for your help
cheers

If you have the tow package. Chances are you all ready have one.....  a engine oil cooler does wanders in keeping her a motor from over heating

Coolers are a big help. Perhaps even more important is to have good water and tranmission fluid temperature gauges (and to use them). Don't rely on the stock temperature gauge; many of them seem to be programmed to keep the displayed temperature low until it gets really high.

If it's really that short, just carry it inside the Tahoe!  ;D  ;D
Sorry, just had to do it!  I know what you meant!
